Tools in Chapter 3
The four tools that were talked about in Chapter 3 were Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, and Concept-Mapping. Word Processing helps teachers and students will spell check, it has a thesarus, and grammar check. This helps teachers by giving another form of assistance to students in the classroom. Spreadsheets are an arrange way of horizontal rows and vertical columns. This would be best used in a math or science subject. It also helps by making these subjects a little more interesting. Databases are used in the school system for filing of students' files. Concept-Mapping is a visual way to think, write, and comprehend. One of their websites is inspiration.com which is something we are starting to learn about in here. It is showing us how to build outlines by combining pictures and text.
